It's interesting that more people have chosen the 20" All-Terrain option on Forest Green orders.

Wonder if its just because of order timing or do we FG people want the more off-roady option?

Regardless, they're pumping them out now!

Launch Green also has a significant 20" bias (based on self-reported orders). Must be something about the greens

Second shift kicking into high gear, I guess. Looks like I'll have my VIN within 1.5 weeks. I already have a half dozen boxes of stuff in the garage, from self-install PPF to mats for the damn thing

The 21" wheels look like goofy wheels to me. I think most people are buying the 20" for the looks and smaller rim size itself, not the tire. I'll get normal Michelin AS tires once the stock AT wear out.

The 21s look like they were made for the R2 lol. And worst case, you can take the $1K you save and put it toward a set of aftermarket 19s or 20s that look better than the OEM 20s anyway.

Also, it's perfectly fine to like the configuration you ordered without constantly trying to convince everyone else that theirs looks bad.

The good thing about not being able to order yet is maybe I can catch some of this on a Black Friday sale, haha

The 21s look like they were made for the R2 lol.

They are literally one inch smaller versions of a wheel design already made for the R1.

The narrow tires, big wheel gap and blingy silvery design don't really match the tone of the rest of the car to me.

FWIW i didn't think they looked particularly good on the r1 either. I an R1t that had the black versions and they helped make it less busy looking, but i would have gotten the 20's for the tire sizing look. To me a truck ain't supposed to look like its on rubber bands.

taste is however, subjective.

That's super interesting. I suppose the green colors give that "outdoorsy" feel that works well with the AT's.

Honestly though, the R2 looks good in any configuration. They nailed the design of this thing.

I'm a little nervous that mine is still being "shipped" to the Normal service center. The delivery team seems to think it's coming to Texas, but this hasn't updated. Maybe I will be going to Illinois!

Anyway, the 21s look blingy, Cadillac style. The 20s fit the outdoorsy vibe of the R2 better. Just my humble opinion.

There's a guy (or gal I suppose) who signs up every now and again just to comment something negatively on one of my posts and then the mods ban him (or her). The quoted post was so incredibly mild too and only was about my own personal opinion

for statistics - VIN was assigned today, order was placed on Sept 10. FG, CC, 21". delivery appt is already scheduled for next week. my guess its already here.
